Welcome to TeacherVoice! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website teachervoice.co and the services provided by TeacherVoice LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
To use TeacherVoice, you must:
Be at least 18 years old;
Be an educator or education professional interested in participating in community discussions, idea sharing, resource sharing, research, or surveys;
Provide accurate and complete registration information.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
Use the platform in a respectful, professional manner;
Not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
Not use the platform for spam, harassment, or unauthorized promotion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our community standards.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your information.
Key points:
You control what personal and professional information is visible to other users, with some exceptions described in our Privacy Policy.
You may receive invitations to participate in surveys or research activities; participation in these activities is optional.
We partner with EdTech companies and provide summaries of teacher sentiment. Your opinions may be included in these summaries, and you may even be quoted, but the quote will not be associated with your name or any other personally identifiable information (PII).
We do not share personally identifiable information (PII) with third parties without your explicit consent.
All content provided on the Site—logos, text, graphics, software, and features—are the property of TeacherVoice LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, or use any part of the Site’s content without express written permission from us.
We may use or link to third-party services like Google Analytics or survey tools. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties. Your use of any third-party tools is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
6. Ownership of Content and AI-Generated Outputs
All content created, submitted, or shared on the TeacherVoice platform—including but not limited to discussions, responses, profiles, and feedback—becomes the property of TeacherVoice LLC. By using the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, analyze, and modify your content for purposes including but not limited to:
Platform improvement and user experience optimization;
Client reporting and research;
AI-driven summarization and publication;
Creation of de-identified, monetizable insights for educational partners.
We will never share your personal information in these outputs without your explicit consent. While anonymized quotes may appear in summaries or insight reports, no PII will be included.
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
We are not liable for the outcomes of any surveys, discussions, or professional decisions made through or because of the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeacherVoice LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Site.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you via email or through the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles.
